You can easily create any email forwarding address through control panel (cPanel). The purpose of an email forwarder is to forward any emails sent to it to any email address you specify. For example any emails sent to info@your-domain-name.com can be forwarded to you@your-domain-name.com. This saves you time and hassle from having to deal with multiple email accounts.
To create an email forwarding follow the steps outlined below.
- Login to your web hosting Control Panel. If you are not sure how to do this, please refer to our article: How to login to control panel.
- Under “Mail” box look for “Forwarders” and click on it.
- Click on “Add Forwarder” button.
- Under Address field, enter the email address that you want to forward. If you have more than one domain name on your account select the appropriate domain name from the drop down menu.
- Under Destination enter the full email address where you want the emails to be forwarded to.
- When you are done, click on “Add Forwarder” button.
