How do I transfer a domain name? Print

To transfer your domain name over to Sharkol, please follow the steps outlined below.

1. Login to your Client Portal.
2. Under Domains menu (located in the top menu) click on “Transfer Domains to Us”.
3. Enter your domain name, select the extension of the domain name (such as .com) and click on “Check Availability”.
4. Next click on “Add to Cart” to continue.
5. Enter your “EPP Code” (Authorization Key).
6. If you wish to change default name server (if not hosting with Sharkol) change them here, otherwise leave them as is.
7. Click on “Update Cart”.
8. Review the order and click on “Checkout”.
9. Follow the checkout instructions and click on “Complete Order”.

Please allow up to 10 days for any domain name transfers to complete. Domain name transfer does not affect your email or website during the transfer process.
